The Rich Mommie Manifesto: From Survival Mode to a Rich Life

The Rich Mommie Manifesto: I’m Not Just Surviving Single Motherhood, I’m Building a Rich Life

Single motherhood did not make me small.

It made me serious.

Serious about the woman I am becoming. Serious about the life I am building. Serious about the legacy I am leaving for my daughters. Serious about refusing to let my circumstances define the limits of my future.

Welcome to The Rich Mommie.

For this space, you can call me Brie.

I created The Rich Mommie for the single mom who is tired of only being seen through struggle. The mom who loves her children deeply, but also knows she is still a woman with dreams, beauty, ambition, standards, faith, and a future. The mom who wants more than survival mode. The mom who wants to build a life that feels peaceful, powerful, feminine, disciplined, and rich.

And when I say rich, I do not only mean money.

Yes, I believe single moms can build wealth. I believe we can own homes, build businesses, invest, create beautiful lives, and stop apologizing for wanting financial freedom. But being rich is bigger than a bank account.

To me, being a rich mommie means becoming wealthy in every area of life.

Rich in faith.

Rich in motherhood.

Rich in discipline.

Rich in wellness.

Rich in money.

Rich in identity.

Rich in purpose.

But I also want to be honest.

This blog is not being written by a woman who has everything figured out.

It is being written by a woman who is still healing.

A woman who has struggled with her mental health.

A woman who has carried stress, pressure, anxiety, sadness, responsibility, disappointment, and the emotional weight of having to be strong for everyone around her.

A woman who has had seasons where she looked functional on the outside, but internally felt exhausted.

A woman who is learning that just because life is better now does not mean her nervous system automatically knows how to rest.

That is one of the realest parts of my journey.

I may no longer be in survival mode, but sometimes I still operate like I am.

Sometimes I am still bracing for the next hard thing.

Sometimes I still feel like I have to rush, prove, protect, prepare, and carry everything by myself.

Sometimes peace feels unfamiliar because chaos was familiar for so long.

And that is part of why The Rich Mommie exists.

This blog is my place to release my thoughts.

A place to process.

A place to reflect.

A place to tell the truth without having to package every lesson perfectly.

A place to write my way out of survival mode and into the woman I am becoming.

Because I do not just want to look rich.

I want to feel safe.

I want to feel whole.

I want to feel grounded.

I want to feel present.

I want to feel free.

There was a time when I had to rebuild myself from the inside out. I have carried motherhood, bills, pressure, responsibility, dreams, healing, and the quiet weight of becoming a woman my children could look up to.

I have also carried physical weight that reminded me I was not taking care of myself the way I deserved.

Losing weight was never just about looking better.

It was about coming back to myself.

It was about discipline.

It was about choosing myself without guilt.

It was about proving to myself that I could change my life one decision at a time.

When you lose weight after carrying so much for so long, something shifts. You realize the body was only part of the transformation. The real transformation happens in your mind. It happens when you stop making excuses for why you cannot start. It happens when you stop waiting for perfect timing. It happens when you decide that the woman you are becoming deserves your consistency.

My weight loss journey taught me that I am capable of hard things.

It taught me that discipline is not punishment. It is self-respect.

It taught me that confidence is built through small promises kept.

It taught me that becoming her is not always glamorous. Sometimes it is meal prepping. Sometimes it is walking when you do not feel like it. Sometimes it is choosing water. Sometimes it is getting back up after falling off. Sometimes it is looking in the mirror and deciding, “I am still worth the work.”

And then there was homeownership.

Buying a house as a single mom was not just a financial goal.

It was a declaration.

It was me saying, “My daughters deserve stability.”

It was me saying, “I am allowed to build.”

It was me saying, “I do not have to wait for someone to rescue me before I create a beautiful life.”

There is something powerful about turning a key and knowing you built your way to that moment. Not because everything was easy. Not because every season was perfect. Not because I had everything figured out.

But because I kept going.

I kept making decisions.

I kept showing up.

I kept believing that my children and I were worthy of a life that felt safe, beautiful, and full of possibility.

That house represented more than walls, rooms, and a mortgage.

It represented stability.

It represented answered prayers.

It represented sacrifice.

It represented discipline.

It represented legacy.

It represented a new chapter.

For me, buying a home was part of becoming a rich mommie because wealth is not just about what you wear, what you drive, or what you post. Wealth is having a place to land. Wealth is creating safety. Wealth is building something your children can feel. Wealth is giving your daughters a front-row seat to what it looks like when a woman decides not to quit.

But even with the weight loss, the house, the growth, and the blessings, I am still learning how to receive peace.

That part matters.

Because sometimes you can leave survival mode physically, but still carry it mentally.

You can have a better life and still feel like you are waiting for something to go wrong.

You can achieve the goal and still feel like you need to do more.

You can be grateful and still be tired.

You can be blessed and still be healing.

That does not make you ungrateful.

It makes you human.

And I am learning to stop shaming myself for being human.

That is the heart of The Rich Mommie.

This is not about pretending life is easy.

It is not about pretending single motherhood is soft all the time.

It is not about acting like faith, fitness, mental health, money, motherhood, and ambition always fit neatly together.

They do not.

Some days, I feel powerful.

Some days, I feel overwhelmed.

Some days, I am proud of myself.

Some days, I am tired and still trying to figure it out.

But I am learning that being a rich mommie is not about having a perfect life.

It is about having a vision.

A rich mommie has vision for her children.

A rich mommie has vision for her money.

A rich mommie has vision for her body.

A rich mommie has vision for her mind.

A rich mommie has vision for her faith.

A rich mommie has vision for her future.

A rich mommie refuses to let survival become her permanent identity.

I want my daughters to see a mother who kept becoming.

I want them to see a woman who loved God, loved them, and still did not abandon herself.

I want them to know that motherhood is beautiful, but it should not require a woman to disappear.

I want them to see me build.

Build wealth.

Build discipline.

Build confidence.

Build faith.

Build health.

Build emotional safety.

Build a beautiful home.

Build a peaceful life.

Build a legacy.

Being a rich mommie means being rich in faith. It means knowing that God has not forgotten me. It means believing that even when life does not look the way I imagined, there is still purpose in my story. It means praying, rebuilding, trusting, and moving forward even when I do not have every answer.

Being a rich mommie means being rich in motherhood. It means raising my daughters with love, intention, protection, and vision. It means teaching them that they are worthy of beautiful things, but also teaching them gratitude, strength, character, and resilience.

Being a rich mommie means being rich in wellness. It means honoring my body. It means caring about my health. It means becoming strong, confident, and alive again. It means understanding that my children do not just need a mother who sacrifices. They need a mother who is whole.

Being a rich mommie means being rich in mental peace. It means learning how to breathe again. It means learning how to rest without guilt. It means learning how to stop living like everything is an emergency. It means giving myself permission to heal, feel, process, and grow.

Being a rich mommie means being rich in discipline. Because the soft life still requires structure. The luxury life still requires sacrifice. The beautiful life still requires consistency. I cannot become the woman I want to be by only doing what feels easy.

Being a rich mommie means being rich in money. Not because money is everything, but because stability matters. Options matter. Peace matters. Being able to provide without panic matters. Owning something matters. Creating a financial foundation for my children matters.

Being a rich mommie means being rich in identity. Single motherhood is part of my story, but it is not the whole story. I am a mother, but I am also a woman. I am allowed to dream. I am allowed to be beautiful. I am allowed to want more. I am allowed to grow. I am allowed to become.

This blog is for the single mom who is tired of shrinking.

The mom who is tired of surviving.

The mom who is tired of waiting for permission to become the woman she knows she is called to be.

This is for the mom who wants to be soft, but not weak.

Faith-filled, but not passive.

Ambitious, but not burned out.

Luxury-minded, but still responsible.

Successful, but still present.

Healthy, but not obsessed.

Honest, but still hopeful.

Disciplined, but still full of grace.

This is not just a blog about money.

This is a blog about becoming rich in every way that matters.

Rich in peace.

Rich in confidence.

Rich in wisdom.

Rich in health.

Rich in love.

Rich in ownership.

Rich in emotional freedom.

Rich in purpose.

Rich in legacy.

I am building a rich life, one decision at a time.

For myself.

For my daughters.

For the woman I am becoming.

For the home we prayed for.

For the peace I am learning to receive.

For the legacy we deserve.

So, if you are a single mom who is ready to stop apologizing for wanting more, welcome home.

This is your rich mommie era too.
